Sugar & spice & everything nice, that’s what little girls are made of!
I am obsessed with stationary and paper goods. I spent a big chunk of my pregnancies searching for the perfect birth announcements. When looking for my son’s, I fell in love with a girl announcement with cupcakes and candy. I decided that was the direction I wanted to go in if/when I was having a daughter.
I scoured the internet for cupcake invitations and found a few strong contenders. I kept checking Etsy, my go-to resource for practically everything. I stumbled across a birth announcement from A Little Treasure which had the bright, fun modern look and feel I was going for. It even had black & white vertical stripes which is a key design element in her room. I contacted Kristy to see if she could swap the newborn photo with a cupcake and provided her with the copy I wanted. Less than 12 hours later, I received the proof of Greenlee’s birth announcement.
I used Zazzle frog postage stamps for my wedding invitations and Ian’s birth announcements. Keeping with tradition, there could not be a better stamp than this to introduce Ian’s little sister Greenlee.
I was going to use a cupcake return address until I discovered the Son with Carriage Custom Snap Stamps from Bonnie Marcus. Bonnie Marcus is one of my all-time favorite designers and I’ve used her work countless times.
