If I was still a working single woman, my disposable income would mostly be spent on dining and designer bags. As a mom who hates to cook, we spend a lot of money on take-in and eating out. In fact, my NYC, apartment dwelling son thinks spaghetti, chicken fingers, shakes and all his other favorite emails come from the elevator because I order in from Seamless regularly.
My husband doesn’t allow me to be so frivolous with acquiring bags. I do have several designers which I cherish, but my husband doesn’t understand why we females require more than one bag. I just discovered a new line of AFFORDABLE bags from BFFs Suki Waterhouse and Poppy Jamie who celebrated their new accessories line, Pop & Suki, at classic Hollywood haunt Mel’s Drive-In last night.
The line plays off fashion’s current personalization trend, except that on Pop & Suki styles, monograms are placed discretely on the bottom of bags so only those in-the-know, know. Poppy explained: “Our branding isn’t very obvious. We love the idea that this could be your bag and if you want everyone to know that it’s your bag, it just takes a little flip. If you also want to stay mysterious, you can do that too.” “It’s not too much in your face,” added Suki.
