I had fun attending Mommybite’s Ultimate Mom’s Night Out. But truthfully as a well-read mom of two who prides myself on staying up on all the latest in the family industry, I was already very familiar with almost all of the exhibitors.
In addition to having a fun mom’s night out with a close friend who recently became a first-time mom, nibbling on yummy baked goods, sipping a glass of Cupcake Chardonnay, I did uncover what I will refer to as a diamond in the rough.
Towards the end of the night, I discovered Momma’s Jewels. The company’s tagline is “For you to wear….For your baby to love.” This beautifully sums up the dual form and functionality of the Momma’s Jewels collection of chic sterling silver jewelry created for trend-setting women (like me and the readers of my blog!), their little teething ones and grasping toddlers.
Sterling silver is safe (think baby rattles and cups) and cool to the touch, perfect for soothing gums. All Momma’s Jewels necklaces and bracelets have passed all recommended safety tests by the Consumer Product Safety Commission at an independent testing facility. All products were tested & passed for children of all ages to play. Also, all products meet the safety requirements outlined by the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act. The rattle in each jewelry piece also doubles as a teaching tool to fine tune motor function skills for little ones.
The chic necklace nurtures the bond between mother and baby and keeps baby happy in mom’s arms longer.
The 30″ length endless chain is the perfect length for baby to pick up the rings to teethe and play, therefore baby does not pull or tug to reach. In addition, the rings are hollow so even though the necklace is large in size, it is very light.
Even my preschooler enjoys hearing how it jangles as I move. He told me it’s circles and also thought the 3 rings make a “snowman.” He has always enjoyed touching and playing with my jewelry and this necklace is no exception. In fact, he gets extra excited when he sees it dangling on my neck. I’ve even let him wear it around the house.
It’s going to be extremely difficult for Greenlee, Ian and I to part with our necklace. Perhaps I can convince my husband to get us the 1 ring ($179) or ideally the 2 ring ($259) to represent both my children. It’s even possible to have their names engraved in the rings to make it even more extra special and personalized to you and your own family. So in addition to being stylish jewelry, a teether for baby, and a teether for baby, it’s also a timeless keepsake to pass on for generations. How sweet would it be for Greenlee to wear it when she is a mom and for my grandchildren to teeth on the same rings that soothed their own mom!”
