Lately I have been thinking how wonderful it would be to have my own personal stylist. The Khardashians have them so why can’t I? I have always been fashion obsessed, but since becoming a mom, I spend much more time and money shopping for my kids. I take tremendous pride in Ian and Greenlee being well-dressed and looking awesome. Truthfully, receiving compliments on how their appearances make me so ecstatic and bring me much more pleasure than buying items for myself. Because I spend considerable less money on clothes for myself, I also have a tendency to pick up an occasional article of clothing as opposed to a whole outfit.
Ironically, at today’s introduction meeting to Evereve (a nation-wide retailer specializing in styling moms), I met the company’s stylists who explained that their subscription box contains 6-8 hand picked pieces, along with a personalized note from a expert stylist on how to mix and match your pieces to create 2-3 full outfits.
Evereve’s co-founder & co-CEO (+ mom) Megan Tame said, “Every day in our stores, we see moms come alive as they stop hiding in their wrong sized clothes and outdated trends and see themselves as beautiful and powerful. They take risks and feel relevant in ways that inspire how they feel as women- and as moms.”
Evereve’s aim is to be the fashion authority for moms everywhere. And when they say moms, they are referring to rock stars, warriors, plate-balancers, and hot mamas (not frumpy housewives in housedresses!)
Honestly, I went to the meeting a bit reluctant that this Minnesota-based company would offer stylish and trendy options for NYC moms. I was so excited when I walked in and was greeted by a Chaser graphic sweatshirt! In my head, I was already thinking, “I need to buy this ASAP.”
Evereve’s assortment is carefully chosen with the modern, fashion-loving mom in mind. They curate the latest trends and products, and partner with leading designers in the contemporary market (Sundry, Rails, Sanctuary, Beachlunchlounge, chaser, cloth & stone and all of my other favs….!!!!) to deliver clothing and accessories (much that is exclusive) that make moms look both hot and wholesome.
Unfortunately, there’s no stores in New York, or anywhere within a reasonable car ride from the tri-state area. Never fear, we can shop online.
I’m even going to commit another first… and am going to subscribe to Evereve’s styling box service, Trendsend. (Stay tuned for that blog post and Scott, when you receive the credit card bill, remember I’m doing it for the sake of research and the love of fashion.)
Disclaimer: I received a complimentary tank top and a $25.oo gift card, but as always, all opinions expressed are 100% my own.
