As moms we give so much to our families on a constant basis including our time, our love, and our brain power. We would literally give our right arm for the sake of our children. We give up plans with friends and evenings out. So make sure to give Mom something special for the holidays.
Gift card for blow outs – Talk about a happy hour! After a visit at Dry Bar, my buzz won’t wear off until the next time I am forced to wash my hair. Come to think of it, include a shower cap with this gift.
7 AM Enfant WarMMuffs allow my hands to be toasty warm while pushing the stroller, and give me the flexibility of easily using my bare hands to tend to the needs of my children. Plus, I don’t have to worry about removing and losing gloves. Matching gloves are available for infants and children too.
A wrap dress – In its December issue on newsstands now, Redbook reminds us how universally flattering and versatile wrap dresses are. Whether a Diane von Furstenburg (DVF) or from the Gap, it’s a must-have wardrobe feature in any woman’s closet. I’ll be modeling this Talbots wrap dress on Today in NY in the next few weeks.
A class – I take Writing for Motherhood at the 9 2nd St Y and even though the subject is motherhood, it’s a time carved out exclusively for me where I have the opportunity to pursue a hobby and interact with other grown-ups who share a similar interest.
What are you wishing for this holiday season?
