Halfway through kindergarten, my son Ian stopped eating his lunch at school. I switched to a brown paper bag and suddenly he was able to ingest some of his food again. Apparently, the frog skip hop insulated lunch bag he had been using since he was an infant had become too babyish for him. It was yet another step forward in this growing up process. sniff, sniff
Ian is beyond obsessed with transportation so I have been on an endless search for a replacement lunch bag with a vehicle on it. I was “wheelie” excited when I discovered that Wildkin has an Olive Kids Planes, Trains & Trucks Print.
Now if only I could figure out what nutritious foods to put inside that he’ll enjoy as much as the lunch box.
Sandra Bullock and her son have been photographed carrying the Under Construction Lunch Box
while Heidi Klum’s daughter Leni uses a Wildkin backpack (as featured in People Magazine).
Even though Greenlee has one more year until she heads off to preschool, I couldn’t resist getting her this Chooze backpack. Ingenious reversible design features two functional sides giving children the power to choose which print to display. Each back pack can be reversed revealing a new color strap and a fun new look. Chooze your print based on your mood.
I need to remember that coordinating lunchboxes are available for when Greenlee outgrows her hand-me-down skip-hop bags.
Chooze are part of the good returns program which means they invest their annual profits into anti-poverty programs. Each purchase made helps make the world a better place.
Here’s to a fantastic 2015-2016 school year!
